The Ripples of Kindness Project

Together we create ripples of hope.

The Ripples of Kindness Project is dedicated to fostering compassion, strengthening communities, and inspiring hope through meaningful acts of kindness.

01 — Start Small

It only takes one.

A smile. A helping hand. A thoughtful note. A moment of encouragement. Kindness does not have to be complicated to make a difference.

We believe that even the smallest act can create a ripple that reaches farther than we may ever see.

Small acts. Big impacts. When we choose kindness, we help create communities where people feel seen, valued, supported, and included.
02 — Our Work

Turning kindness into action.

We create opportunities for people of all ages to turn compassion into meaningful action within their schools, neighborhoods, and communities.

Kindness Has No Limit

Kindness travels.

One person inspires another. One act encourages another. One ripple becomes many. Together, we can create a culture where kindness keeps moving forward.

A simple “Yes” can become a ripple.

Sometimes the most meaningful moments begin with something incredibly simple: choosing to say yes when someone needs a little kindness.

Literacy Under the Lights

On September 17, 2026, Socastee High School held its second annual Literacy Under the Lights, bringing together students, clubs, food trucks, families, and members of our community for an evening centered around literacy and connection.

Encourage One Another Club was proud to be part of the event. President Emery Hernandez, Vice President of Service & Initiatives Londyn Baker-Brown, and Club Advisor Emma Carr represented the club at our table.

The kindness we experienced throughout the evening was incredible. Kiddos, families, and community members stopped by our table, participated, and helped make the night a meaningful reminder of just how far a little kindness can go.

Horry County Schools Superintendent Clifford Jones also visited the event and was impressed by the work of Encourage One Another Club and The Ripples of Kindness Project. His support and interest in what our students are building made the evening even more meaningful.

Our First Meeting of the School Year

Encourage One Another Club kicked off the 2026–2027 school year by bringing students together to learn more about the club, connect with one another, and begin planning ways to spread kindness throughout Socastee High School and the community.

Members worked together, shared ideas, created encouraging messages, and started turning their ideas into projects that can make a difference throughout the school year.

  • Getting to know our members
  • Sharing ideas for future kindness projects
  • Creating encouraging messages
  • Beginning a new year of service and kindness
